Dr. John Shedlock grew up in Chesterfield, PA and attended Moshannon Valley High School. He earned a business degree at Penn State. After toying with a few different career choices, he decided optometry school was the way to go, and studied at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He completed clinical internships with The Eye Institute at PCO, the Veterans Hospital in Dayton, OH, the Laurel Eye Clinic in Duncansville, PA, and Nittany Eye Associates in State College, PA.
Dr. Shedlock always has a To-Do-List a mile long, and this office was one of his many projects. Thankfully growing up he learned how to fix just about anything. He did all the renovation work on nights and weekends, trying to get it ready for patients as soon as possible.
